Location Manchester Contract type Fixed Term (Part time) Closing date 19 June 2025 Interview date 24 June 2025 Job Description The Course Leader will work closely with the Programme Content Manager to develop a clear framework for identifying engaging and relevant content for the institute's pre-university programme, Next Gen. Next Gen is an immersive learning experience for students between 14 and 17 years old. The programme is designed to allow students to explore the sports industry across three weekly modules. These are: - Athlete Management & Development - Marketing and Business - Media & Content Creation We are seeking a Course Leader to deliver the Athlete Management and Development module. This will include helping to finalise the module curriculum (which has been developed), creating content for sessions, and delivering workshops in person. The Course Leader will also assist Guest Faculty from MCFC and other organisations delivering some of the sessions throughout the programme.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with internal MCSBS staff and external stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver course content. - Manage the schedule for a specific course module in conjunction with the Programme Content Manager. - Deliver at least eight workshops throughout the week and facilitate at least six sessions with guest faculty. - Provide additional learning resources for each session to extend and embed learning. - Work with the Programme Content Manager to house critical information such as schedules, sessional outcomes, and tasks on the learning management system, Canvas. - Provide support to guest faculty during sessions and other practical experiences. - Define criteria for course completion and provide feedback on any agreed student assessments. Location: Manchester, for in-person teaching during programme dates.
