Loughborough Sport is seeking an ambitious Performance Nutritionist to join our expert interdisciplinary team. This is your opportunity to directly impact the success of elite athletes at an institution ranked #1 in the world for sports-related subjects for seven consecutive years.

About us
At Loughborough Sport, we support approximately 800 funded athletes, scholars, and first-team competitors across diverse sporting disciplines. Our world-renowned performance ecosystem has produced Olympic and Paralympic medallists and World Champions, establishing us as a global leader in sporting excellence.

The role
As our Performance Nutritionist, you'll deliver comprehensive nutrition services that optimize performance, recovery, and health for elite and developing athletes. Working within our collaborative interdisciplinary team, you'll:
• Provide tailored nutrition support through workshops, one-on-one consultations, and group sessions
• Develop and implement innovative nutritional strategies across various sports programmes
• Collaborate with elite coaches and specialists including strength & conditioning, psychology, and sports medicine professionals
• Create behaviour-change plans that improve nutritional habits of athletes and support staff
• Support athletes during training camps and competitions
• Mentor nutrition interns and placement students

• Evidence-based approaches to sports nutrition
• A passion for fostering "food first" nutrition philosophies
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with coaches and support teams
