Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Specialist, Commercial Content Video Editor



You will work within the commercial content team dedicated predominantly to the output of branded content for the club’s commercial partners. The commercial content team are responsible for LFC’s partner content published across club owned & operated channels.



You will work with iMac & PC edit suites and utilise the Adobe Creative suite of software and will be expected to use the full suite of products from Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition etc to complete their production.



This role reports into the Senior Manager, Commercial Content and will work heavily with the club’s commercial content producers on a daily basis.



What will you be doing?



Can work and integrate different programs within the Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging content.
Editing social first content throughout the week, including short form vertical content & long form content
Can repackage edits to be used across our wider digital and social outputs
Collaborate with the Snr Commercial Content Manager & commercial content producers to support video content for internal departments and partners
Work closely across the department with different teams to make sure content is effectively created and available for editing
Incorporate commercial objectives into content, focusing on brand awareness and conversion.


Who are we looking for?



We’re looking for a highly skilled and technically proficient individual with advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder, alongside intermediate to advanced capabilities in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in modern production techniques, including multi-cam editing, and possess a strong understanding of ingest workflows—from card-based media to tape and live feeds. Experience with Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and server-based workflows is essential, as is a solid working knowledge of both MacOS and Windows 10 environments. A clear grasp of standard video formats and principles, including codecs, wrappers, audio/video signal standards, and web formats, is also required.



The successful candidate will hold a qualification in broadcast or media-related technologies (HND or higher) and demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and good composition abilities. We’re seeking someone with a can-do attitude, who is resourceful, adaptable to fast-changing production requirements, and capable of multi-tasking across multiple skill sets. You’ll need to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with the ability to work under pressure in live broadcast and transmission environments. Flexibility around unsociable hours and variable working patterns is essential. The role also demands media conversion experience, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of broadcast legal standards for video and audio signals. A deep knowledge of football, particularly Liverpool FC, is highly desirable. You should be confident working with minimal supervision, prioritising workloads effectively, and taking direction from producers and production managers.
