Job Description
Are you passionate about sports and enjoy working with young minds? We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team on either a part and full time basis in and around Croydon and Bromley primary schools.

September 2025 start - Primary School Sector

Ability to travel to multiple locations / Car - ESSENTIAL

Full Enhanced DBS Certificate - ESSENTIAL

Main times of work - before school 0800-0845; PE during the day; after school 3.15-4.15 (approx)

Ideal role for energetic sports graduates looking to kickstart a career in sports coaching with mentorship and training from an Olympian. This role will enable individuals to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours specific to jobs roles within the sport physical activity industry, whilst at the same time gaining qualifications and contributing to the company and services we provide.

You will work alongside experienced coaches learning the skills required to successfully work in the industry and ultimately experience sports and physical activity coaching in various settings and environments, to be able to deliver independently. You will aid and provide support to the team to reach goals and objectives and support the smooth running of the organisation. You will learn how to create and deliver fun, educational and safe coaching session for pupils of differing ages and abilities.

Key Requirements:

Full, Enhanced DBS certificate dated within 1 year
Full Driving Licence
Group Coaching Experience in Primary Schools
Ability to regularly travel within the local area.
Training:

Successful candidates will complete:

Training from Olympian Director James Beevers
First Aid & Safeguarding if required
Regular CPD / Refresher forums
Client Facing Duties:

Give positive first impressions to customers
Assist in the delivery of sport & physical activity sessions
Deliver to Little Musketeers Standards and expectations
Demonstrate best practice
Perform equipment
Coach the relevant skills, tactics and techniques for numerous sports and physical activities
Deliver fun, engaging and educational training
Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing tuition, encouragement and constructive feedback
Identifying strengths and weaknesses
Maintain positive relationships with all prospective and existing clients and customers
Demonstrate professionalism whilst instructing
Be a role model
Lead by example
Take responsibility for the health and safety of others and ensure safe use of premises and equipment.
Personal duties:

Prepare yourself correctly for sessions
Be energetic and Motivated
Meet an internal quality check requirements
Complete course paperwork including registers, assessments, course reports and results
Complete risk assessments of the training area, equipment, activity and participants
Research and continuously develop skills
Engage in relevant training
Dress professionally – In line with Little Musketeers Uniform
Contribute to the development of the team and delivery
Assist with the delivery of services for other departments if required
Understanding and awareness of sports and physical activities.
Ability to communicate effectively with all participants including children, parents and schools
Be decisive, maintain good discipline, inspire confidence and give encouragement
Be enthusiastic about physical activity.
