Job Description
Do you love working with people and using sport to make a real difference?

We are looking for two new Community Sports Coaches part-time coaches (20hrs) to join our team. You will be passionate, friendly, and committed to helping others enjoy being active—no matter their background or ability.

Salary: £12,698 per annum (FTE £23,492 per annum)
Contract: Part-Time - Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week (occasional evenings and weekends required)
Location: LNER Stadium, Lincoln, LN5 8LD plus various community venues

About Us
At Lincoln City Foundation, we believe sport is for everyone. As our new Community Sports Coach, you’ll help deliver fun, safe and supportive sessions in schools, holiday clubs, and community settings across Lincolnshire. You'll encourage people to be active, build confidence, learn new skills and enjoy being part of something positive.

Key Responsibilites
As a Community Sports Coach, you will:
Deliver safe, enjoyable, and developmental sports sessions in alignment with the programme curriculum and strategic objectives

Promoting the progression of participants through programme activities, aiming to positively impact their health, wellbeing and personal achievement

Ensure high standards of session administration including risk assessments, registers and participant assessments

What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an organised, motivated, and compassionate leader who’s passionate about creating safe, engaging, and inclusive environments for young people to thrive.

Essential experience and skills include:
Has experience delivering sport or activity sessions (especially with children or young people)
Holds a recognised coaching qualification (Level 2 or above)
Understands how to create a welcoming and safe space for all
Is happy to work as part of a team, as well as on their own
At least 1 year of experience of delivering within a sports environment or educational setting
