Are you looking for an all-round and varied finance role in an exciting sporting environment? Leicester Tigers are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This is an extremely varied role that offers great experience and exposure in a fast paced and exciting environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as sales invoicing, bank reconciliations and other transactions.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries,
• Delivery of month end to tight timescales.
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of all back up schedules.
• Involvement in budgeting and forecasting.
• Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
• Work cross functionally to strengthen current internal control and process improvements.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Reconciliation of monthly payroll data to our outsource provider.
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, accounts receivables, expenses etc.
• Provide insightful information to Senior Management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
Essential: -
• Finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Advanced excel skills
• An analytical mind and a keen eye for detail
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload

Desired: -
• Experience of statutory accounts
• Ability to delegate and manage the work of others
• Experience of AP and AR
• Ability to develop strong working relationships
• Commercial and business acumen
