Job Description

Job title: Graphic Designer
Reports to: Multimedia Content Producer
Hours: 37.5 each week
Location: Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium, Leicester
Closing Date: 12pm Friday, May 23

The Role

The Club are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic graphic designer to join the Communications & Marketing department. You will be primarily responsible for the delivery of artwork and graphics, as well as assisting in the production of multimedia content as briefed.

As part of the Multimedia function at the club, you will play a vital role in creating the overall ‘look and feel’ of the Leicester Tigers brand across all club owned and external channels.

You will be the lead advocate for the club’s brand guidelines, as well as educator and support to colleagues, Club Partners and stakeholders on implementing them online and in traditional forms. You will manage the relationships with print and signage companies for all branding within and surrounding Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium, Oval Park and Oaks Park training grounds, as well as external advertising or club communications and marketing.

As part of the Communications and Marketing department, you are responsible for improving brand awareness and increasing growth online and in the form of Season Ticket Holders, Members and delivery of Club Partner contractual rights. The role will include contributing to the implementation of best practice and processes, club wide, in design to help promote and provide coverage of matchday activations and offerings, club events, community activity and the retail function.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assisting the Multimedia Team in the production of artwork and graphics
• Assisting with print, digital, email and web artwork
• Managing relationships with print and signage companies along with other departments to ensure deadlines are met
• Acting as an on-site point of contact for signage and graphic installations
• Working club-wide on design briefs from conception through to final stage
• Ensuring the club’s brand guidelines are adhered to at all time with respect to artwork
• Carrying out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder’s capabilities

Person Specification

Essential:

 A higher education based qualification/apprenticeship within a related field
 Proficient in Adobe Creative suite
 Proficient in Microsoft Office products
 Eligible to work in the UK
 Portfolio of work

Desirable:

 Experience in Graphic Design or a related field
 Ability to create engaging content
