As a General Practitioner with a focus predominantly within women's health, you’ll play a key role in providing primary care and leading on the female athlete health provision. Your responsibilities will include delivering general primary care services to first team players during twice-weekly on-site clinics, and leading on the development and implementation of the Club’s female athlete health strategy, including menstrual health, contraception, bone health, and RED-S screening.The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified General Practitioner (GP) with a valid license to practise and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), with a minimum of 3 years post-CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) clinical experience in general practice. You’ll need specific experience delivering primary care services, ideally within a high-performance, female or sports-focused population and possess a strong understanding of female athlete health issues, including menstrual health, contraception, bone health, and RED-S.
