Job Description
Head Football Coach – KSI Coaching FC (Under 9 and U12 )

Looking to start your coaching career or looking for a new challenge , we are now hiring and looking for 2 coaches to come and join our team.

Location: New Cross, Peckham and Deptford ( must be available to travel in south east London as League games across South East London & Kent)
Salary: £10–£15 per hour (dependent on experience

About Us:
Keeping Sports Inclusive Football club (also known as KSI Coaching FC) is dedicated to ensure that players get an opportunity to play football regardless of their skill level. You can be the best player or a player who needs to improve we will have a team to accommodate the footballing needs in a fun, safe, and positive environment. We pride ourselves on fostering a strong community, supporting players’ growth on and off the pitch, and giving them experiences they’ll remember for life. We are looking for candidates who embody our values and principles of ensuring that every child grows and is challenged at their level as everyone deserves a positive football experience.

The Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and friendly Head Football Coach to lead our teams and inspire young players. You’ll be the face of the club on match days, work closely with our coaches, and help maintain the supportive and positive environment KSI Coaching FC is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

embody the KSI Coaching principles of ensuring all kids play to their level and develop accordingly
Lead on match days and training sessions (Occasionally coach other teams)
Run regular training sessions for children, creating a fun and engaging learning environment
Maintain positive relationships with parents and players
Act as a role model, embodying the values and philosophy of KSI Coaching FC
Write match reports and support head of football operations
Assist other coaches during training sessions as needed
The candidate we are ideally looking for is the following

1. someone who wants a challenge coaching a new aside of football (U9)

2. someone who has experience in coaching 7 aside football and wants to coach 9 aside (U12)

Requirements:

Essential requirements

Introduction to Football coaching qualification (Formally known as the level 1)
DBS Check (Essential) , if you don't have one we will get you to pay for one and application will be subject to the outcome of the DBS
1 year experience working or school/afterschool club/ Primary school setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire young players
Must be able to travel through south East London and Kent areas (rare occasions)
Desirable requirements

- First Aid, and Safeguarding certification (Essential)

- Experience working in a grassroots club

- Introduction to futsal qualification

Location: U9 train in Peckham and Deptford (League games across South East London & Kent), U12 train in Peckham and Deptford (League games across South East London & Kent)
Pay: £10–£15/hr & CPD opportunities

About the role:
Lead match days, run fun training sessions for kids, be a role model, and help grow our football community. Work closely with coaches and the head of football operations in a friendly, supportive environment.

You’ll need:

Intro to Football coaching qualification (old level 1)
DBS, First Aid & Safeguarding
Experience with grassroots clubs or schools/afterschool clubs (ideal, not essential)
Passion for coaching and working with kids
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A LEVEL 1 YOU WOULD ONLY BE ALLOWED TO VOLUNTEER NOT LEAD.
