Job Description
Looking for a role that fits around your life?
Whether you're seeking a better work-life balance, looking to reduce your working hours, returning to work, or considering a gradual transition towards retirement, this could be the ideal opportunity.

We're looking for an experienced and organised finance professional to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. This role offers the chance to continue using your valuable bookkeeping and financial administration skills in a flexible, supportive environment, without the demands often associated with larger corporate finance positions.

At Run For All, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver events that inspire people to get active and raise millions for charity, while enjoying the flexibility to balance work with other commitments and interests.

About Run For All
Run For All is the UK's largest not-for-profit events company, delivering mass participation running events that inspire hundreds of thousands of people to get active each year.

Our events raise millions for charity and support communities across the UK. We're passionate about making a positive difference and creating memorable experiences for participants, volunteers and partners alike.

The Opportunity
This is a varied and rewarding finance administration role where you'll take ownership of key bookkeeping and payment processes that keep our organisation running smoothly.

The position would suit someone with previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and is looking for a role that offers flexibility, purpose and a welcoming team culture.

You'll be supported by an experienced team and will have the opportunity to shape your working pattern around agreed business needs.

Why This Role Could Be Right For You
• Part-time hours (22.5 hours per week)
• Flexible working arrangements
• Opportunity to structure your hours around your lifestyle and commitments
• Meaningful work supporting a not-for-profit organisation
• Friendly, supportive and collaborative team environment
• A role where your experience and attention to detail will be genuinely valued
• The chance to remain professionally engaged without the pressures of a full-time position

Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
• Process supplier invoices and upload them into financial systems.
• Reconcile bank and company card transactions.
• Support routine finance processes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with payment processing through internal systems and event payment platforms.

Accounts Management
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Ensure financial transactions are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
• Support financial reporting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with tracking operational expenditure.

Payment Management
• Process supplier payments accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain clear and organised transaction records.
• Support the administration of event staff payments.
• Systems and Process Support
• Work with finance and event payment systems.
• Help maintain efficient and effective finance processes.
• Ensure financial documentation is organised and easily accessible.

Skills and Experience
Essential
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration or finance support.
• Working knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Desirable
• Experience reconciling bank accounts and company cards.
• Familiarity with expense management processes.
• Experience within a small business or not-for-profit organisation.

What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from people who bring:

• A methodical and organised approach
• Reliability and professionalism
• The confidence to work independently
• A practical, problem-solving mindset
• A willingness to learn and embrace new systems
• A positive attitude and team spirit

Benefits
In return, we offer:

Pro rata 25 days' holiday (including bank holidays)
• 7% matched employer pension contribution, increasing with loyalty
• Flexible working hours
• Free entry to company events
• Annual match fundraising opportunities
• Training and development support
• Social events and team activities
• A supportive culture that values experience, flexibility and work-life balance

If you are organised, detail-focused and excited by the opportunity to support a purpose-driven events business, we would love to hear from you.
