Job Description
Location: Leeds
Organisation: Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All
Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Reports to: Head of Marketing & Communications

Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All is seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing Lead to drive the planning, execution, and optimisation of all our digital marketing campaigns.

In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of Content and Marketing Executives, providing clear direction and support to deliver compelling digital content and campaigns that engage runners, supporters, and charities nationwide.

You will own the digital marketing strategy covering social media, email marketing, paid digital advertising, SEO, and website content and work closely with cross-functional teams to maximise campaign impact and organisational goals.

About Us:
Run For All was established to continue the legacy of Jane Tomlinson CBE — an inspirational fundraiser and athlete. We organise some of the UK’s leading mass participation running events, helping thousands of people achieve their goals and raise millions for charity.

Our team is dedicated to making running inclusive, accessible, and impactful. We’re looking for a digital marketing leader who shares our passion for sport, community, and fundraising.

Your Role :
Lead, inspire and develop a team of Content and Marketing Executives to deliver high-quality digital campaigns.
Develop, implement and own the end-to-end digital marketing strategy, including social media, email marketing, paid media, SEO, and website content.
Plan, manage and optimise multi-channel campaigns that drive event sign-ups, fundraising and brand engagement.
Ensure all digital content is on-brand, consistent and tailored to audience segments.
Use performance data and audience insights to refine strategy and improve campaign ROI.
Manage digital marketing budgets and external relationships where applicable.
Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and best practices to keep Run For All at the forefront of innovation.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven leadership experience managing digital marketing or content teams
Strong expertise in digital marketing channels: social media, email, paid media, SEO, web content
Track record of planning and delivering successful multi-channel campaigns
Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform decision-making
Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder management skills
Passion for charity, sport, events and community engagement preferred
Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CRM, CMS, advertising platforms etc.)

As a company we very much believe in inspiring activity both with our staff and our participants and view sport as a force for good. Our ‘For All’ ethos is at the heart of our events, and we want to ensure that diversity, inclusion and wellbeing are central to our company. We strongly value diversity within our workforce and recognise that different people bring different perspective lived experience, ideas and culture to the company. This difference brings with it great strengths, including diversity of thought and innovation.

With charity at our core, we are looking to employ someone who understands the unique ethos and aims of the organisation. Applicants should be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible and have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.

To be considered for this role you will need to own a car and have a full clean driving licence due to the location of events and requirements to travel. You should expect to work several event weekends and occasionally, out of hours, especially throughout the events season.
