Job Description

Wheelchair Tennis is one of the most exciting and fast‑growing disciplines in our sport, offering world‑class competition and inspiring athletic achievement. Founded in 1976, the discipline celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026, marking five decades of innovation, global growth, and extraordinary performances.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a postgraduate student to gain hands-on experience within a truly global sporting organisation and to contribute to meaningful projects.

About the role
As a Data Scientist Intern, you will support our Wheelchair Tennis Team with:
• Analysing player rankings and tournament assessment data streams
• Reviewing performance data relating to junior pathway training and competition testing
• Tracking player progression data
• Supporting the digitisation of player classification process
• Setting up a process to capture, track and analyse player health on Tour

Candidate requirements
• Hold a master’s degree - or due to complete one by July 2026 - in Sport / Data Analytics, Mathematics or a similar discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage individual projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
• Expertise in and knowledge of data analysis tools and software
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Interest in and awareness of disability sport

The position will be based in our London office in Roehampton, southwest London. Placements begin in June 2026, and candidates must be available for 6 – 12 months from the start of the placement.

• Paid internship
• 20 days’ holiday per annum (pro-rata for placements shorter than 12 months) plus bank holidays
• Company-paid Health Cash Plan

• 8% employer contribution to a workplace pension plan
• Free lunch when working in the office (up to £9 a day)
• 35 hour working week, Monday – Friday. Flexible start and finish times possible (core hours: 10:00 – 16:00)
