Health & Fitness Manager Organisation Hurlands Pickleball & Padel Salary £30,000-£36,000 Location Farnham, Surrey Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 26 October 2025 Interview date 31 October 2025 Job Description Hurlands is a brand new Pickleball and Padel Club opening in January 2026 with 7 Padel courts, 10 Pickleball courts and an extensive fitness offer. The club will boast bars and a café, fitness studios, treatment rooms, suites and a club shop. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and highly organised Health & Fitness Manager to lead our wellbeing offering. This is a hands-on role that blends fitness delivery with operational leadership. You will personally deliver classes while also managing the wider health and fitness programme, recruiting and supporting freelance instructors, and ensuring a great customer experience. Key Responsibilities Programme Delivery: • Teach group fitness classes to members of all abilities. • Provide personal training or small group sessions as required. Programme Development & Management: • Design, schedule, and oversee a varied calendar of fitness and wellbeing classes. • Recruit, onboard, and coordinate freelance instructors and coaches. • Recruit a range of professionals (ie. physio, chiropractor, nutrition) to deliver services from our treatment rooms. • Monitor class performance, attendance, and feedback to continually improve the offering. Facility & Operations Management: • Oversee the smooth running of the studio and fitness spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment care. • Liaise with the management team on operational matters, including timetabling, marketing, and customer services. Member Engagement: • Build strong relationships with members, providing a welcoming and supportive environment. • Act as an ambassador for health, wellbeing, and active living. Teamwork & Collaboration: • Work closely with the Centre’s leadership team to align fitness programmes with the wider vision of the venue. • Support the promotion of classes and events to maximise participation.
