Role Specific ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will:• Delivering a comprehensive Physiotherapy programme.• Liaise with Women’s First Team Coaches regarding treatment, management, and return to play of all Women’s players.• Liaise with Circle Private Hospital Physiotherapists regarding treatment, management, and return to play of all severely injured Women’s players.• Deliver individualised assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to all Women’s players as required. • Refer serious injuries that may need scans or further medical treatment to Circle Private Hospital.• Provide match day medical cover (home and away, including evenings and weekends).• Support the Women’s injury audit.• Maintain up to date and accurate injury notes for all Women’s players in line with regulatory requirements.This job description is not intended to be exhaustive, and the post holder is required to undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Women’s First Team Manager, the Head of Women’s Football, and/or any other Senior Leader within the Club. How to apply Huddersfield Town AFC Women’s Team Physiotherapist £20.00 per hour. Part-time (12 hours per week) covering Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (eight hours) and Sunday afternoons (four hours) during each season. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to support our Women’s Team as a Physiotherapist. In this role you will work with the Women’s First Team, and other age groups as required, taking responsibility for delivering a physiotherapy and rehabilitation programme, and immediate medical cover, on training and match days. Working closely with the Women’s Team Coaches, the post holder will lead on the treatment, management, and return to play of all injured players. You will deliver individualised assessments, treatment, and rehabilitation as required, also providing match day medical cover at both home and away fixtures. Effective record-keeping in line with regulatory requirements is also essential in this role. With previous proven experience of working as a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist, you must hold a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy or other relevant discipline, be registered with an appropriate professional body such as the HCPC or CSP, and have an up to date ITMMiF qualification.
