Key Performance Indicators• Assist the HTAFC Women’s Manager in the overall delivery of the Women’s First Team training sessions and preparation for match days.• Assist with weekly planning, on-pitch coaching, match day management and reflection of performance of the Women’s first team.• Deliver measurable technical, tactical, physical and psychological development for all goalkeepers in the squad.Role Specific ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will:• Design and implement engaging training sessions tailored to the Goalkeepers’ ability level, focused on skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness.• Design and deliver set-piece sessions for the whole defensive and attacking units.• Provide mentorship, encouragement, and constructive feedback to help coaches and Goalkeepers grow, both on and off the field, fostering confidence and a positive attitude towards the game.• Foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among Goalkeepers, promoting mutual respect, sportsmanship, and collaboration both during training sessions and on match days.• Prepare the Goalkeeper for matches, discussing tactics, and motivating players to perform at their best.• Analyse the opposition set pieces and produce a report that includes key routines, first contractors and recommendations to solve problems.• Maintain open and effective communication with players, club officials, and other coaches, providing them with accurate information about training schedules, match details, and any relevant Club updates.• Prioritise the safety and wellbeing of players, ensuring that training sessions and matches are conducted in a safe and respectful manner.This job description is not intended to be exhaustive, and the post holder is required to undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Women’s First Team Manager, the Head of Women’s Football, and/or any other Senior Leader within the Club. Part-time (10 hours per week) covering Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (two hours per day) and Sunday afternoons (four hours) during each season. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to support our Women’s First Team as a Goalkeeper Coach. In this role you will be responsible for providing an inclusive and supportive environment where all players can develop their football skills. As a Coach, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for the game, promoting teamwork, and empowering our players to reach their full potential. Working closely with the Women’s Team Manager, the post holder will assist with training sessions, weekly planning, on-pitch coaching, match day management, and post-match reflections. You will also deliver measurable technical, tactical, physical and psychological development for all Goalkeepers in the squad. With previous Goalkeeping coaching experience in football, you must be able to demonstrate a positive record of individual player development and hold a UEFA C/FA Level 2 coaching qualification as a minimum. You must have or be working towards a UEFA B Goalkeeping Coaching qualification.
