Job Description: CEO required to launch Hddle a new chain of multi sport outdoor centres.

The leisure market has transformed. What people value, and how they choose to spend their time is changing.

Hddle plans to be the market leader in the provision of multi-sports outdoor centres.Somewhere adults, youths, children and families can get out and play. Offering adult evening leagues, coaching programmes, informal play as well as kids camps and youth fitness programmes.

Hddle sports are touch rugby, street cricket, football, basketball, hockey and netball in 3v3 to 5v5 formats on outdoor caged pitches.

The pandemic has only sped up this shift. Lockdown opened up new audiences to alfresco fitness; and as a nation, we found a new appreciation for being active, outdoors and together.

With life expectancy increasing, and the endless ‘fitspiration’ of social media, wellness, mental and physical health is high on this population’s agenda. We all need an environment to step forward and support the lifestyle we’re all aspiring to. This is where Hddle comes in.

Hddle will make team sports happen. Creating opportunities for increased participation for all, including those with physical and mental disabilities too. Truly inclusive, we’re here for all bodies and all minds.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic goals. You will more focus on the company's daily operations and how that connects to the overall vision of the company

A CEO is required for a quarter 2 start either based in Manchester or Bristol. Their role will be to:

People - Recruit the SMT
Strategy - Work with the board
Brand - Creativity and innovation with the Cravens Agency
Planning - Work with architects Roberts Limberick, AFL, GT3, Leonard Design
Financial - Full budget responsibilities and setting up systems
HR - Legal compliance from scratch
Facility - Build from the ground up with a 3 acre site
Sales - Create a tech driven platform using people and AI
Marketing and PR - Create extensive coverage pre opening
Social Media - Create the framework and strategy

You will be a self starter, ambitious, dynamic, good with people, fair, lead from the front and be rewarded with a good salary and equity moving forward with a 4 month pre opening phase and 5 month build phase for late 2025 opening.
