Head of Analysis Organisation Hartlepool United FC Salary Market Rate Location Maiden Castle, Durham University & The Prestige Group Stadium, Hartlepool Contract type Permanent (Part time) Closing date 6 June 2025 Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Overseeing day-to-day internal and opposition analysis operations.- Creating frameworks and methodologies for analysing player and team performance, using data to inform the decision making of First Team Coaching Staff.- Gathering and processing data sources i.e. match footage, player data, and statistical information. - Presenting findings to Coaching Staff and Players in a clear and concise manner, recommending strategic tactical decisions in training sessions and fixtures. - Tracking Player and Team performance data over time, identifying trends and areas for improvement. - Monitoring advancements in analysis strategies and methodologies, and ensuring that the in-house Analysis Department remains up to date within the field. - Liaise with the Scouting, Recruitment, and other Departments to ensure a holistic approach to the Club’s football analysis. - Co-ordinating and overseeing the daily filming of training sessions, and fixtures on a matchday, thereafter collaborating all footage and forming key highlights for specific tactical use.- Constantly developing live feedback processes between the First Team Staff whilst training sessions and fixtures are taking place.- Overseeing the pre-game matchday setup of all analysis networks, ensuring maximum effectiveness of communication between all First Team Staff in high-pressured situations. Other Responsibilities- To act in a manner which supports and upholds the Club’s values. - To be present at all First Team fixtures and Club events when required. - Travel to and from locations including Victoria Park, TS24 8BZ, Durham University, DH1 3SE, and other locations if required, so a driving license is necessary. - Develop a network of Volunteers and Interns to help nurture a pathway of future professional talent. - Assist with other areas e.g. Recruitment – as well as miscellaneous duties as deemed necessary.
