Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and caring Gymnastics Coach to join our team. Opportunities are available on a full-time, part-time, flexible, or self-employed basis, depending on the candidate.
We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for working with children, the ability to inspire confidence, and the skills to manage and engage children of different ages and abilities, both individually and in group settings.
This role is perfect for someone who has previous experience working with young children and a genuine passion for helping children grow, learn, and build confidence through physical activity.
We value the ability to connect with children, manage different ages and abilities, and create a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging gymnastics sessions for children of varying ages and skill levels.
Adapt coaching styles to support individual needs within group sessions.
Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every child feels supported.
Teach gymnastics skills, routines, and safe practice in a clear and age-appropriate way.
Plan and lead warm-ups, conditioning activities, and skill development drills.
Monitor progress and provide positive, constructive feedback to students.
Manage behaviour calmly and confidently to maintain a focused yet fun atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding progress or concerns.
Follow all safety procedures and safeguarding policies.
What We’re Looking For
A strong passion for working with children and young people.
Confidence in managing groups of children as well as working one-to-one.
Experience coaching gymnastics or working in a child-focused role (sports coaching, teaching, childcare, youth work, etc.).
Ability to adapt sessions for different ages, abilities, and confidence levels.
Positive energy, patience, and strong organisational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable (but not essential)
Gymnastics coaching experience or related sports coaching background.
Experience in cheerleading, martial arts (including judo), swimming, basketball, climbing, or similar activities.
Knowledge of physical education principles.
Lifeguard or first aid certification.
Enhanced DBS check.
Safeguarding certification.
Driving licence.

Additional Information
Client locations are mainly based in Westminster, Knightsbridge, Hendon, and Cricklewood.
Opportunities for full-time, part-time, flexible working hours, or self-employed arrangements are available depending on the candidate.
A driving licence is not essential but is preferable.
A company vehicle may be supplied to the right candidate, or an electric bike can be provided.
Willingness to travel between locations is required.
If a candidate does not currently hold an Enhanced DBS check or safeguarding certification, support will be provided to help the right candidate obtain these.
