Job Description: Join the Women+ Coaching Team at Hampstead RFC!

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our established coaching team for the upcoming season. We're an inclusive women’s rugby team based in North London, with two teams in Women's Championship 2 and NC2, playing matches across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist Head Coach and Development Coach in training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
• Assist Coaches on matchdays at weekends.
• Lead drills as directed by the Coaches, and, on occasion, lead training sessions
• Work closely with the Coaches and Captains on player management and team selection.

Requirements:

• Appreciation of women’s sport and its challenges
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Evidence of coaching sport at any level (adult desired)
• Ability to deliver feedback constructively
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Clear knowledge and understanding of rugby, laws and current processes, with a genuine interest in the women's and community game.

Desirable:

• Rugby coaching experience
• Strength & Conditioning qualifications.
