Marketing Executive (Leisure and Events)

The Role

To support the delivery of creative, commercially focused marketing activity across Utilita Bowl’s portfolio, driving engagement, bookings, and brand awareness. The role works across leisure, hospitality, and events brands, contributing to campaigns that enhance customer experience and support business growth in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Support Marketing Manager (Leisure and Events) in building Utilita Bowl’s brand as a leading venue and destination
• Support the strategic marketing plans and campaigns for all leisure and non-cricket events at Utilita Bowl, and support their successful delivery
• Support marketing initiatives designed to drive revenue, bookings, ticket sales and customer acquisition across all business areas
• Support Marketing Manager (Leisure and Events) in delivering cross venue promotional marketing activity
• Create social media content and copy across all venue channels, ensuring alignment with content strategies, marketing plans, and content calendars, brand guidelines and timely delivery
• Identify social media trends and opportunities to increase audience engagement and follower growth
• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of content shoots across the venue, and attend these and events to capture engaging content
• Update and maintain website and digital content, to ensure a seamless customer experience and support increased bookings across all areas of the business
• Create, execute and evaluate email marketing campaigns for Utilita Bowl, its leisure outlets and events
• Ensure customer data is accurate, up to date, and compliant with GDPR regulations, while supporting the acquisition and effective use of marketable customer data
• Produce and share monthly digital marketing reports, providing insights across all channels to support stakeholder communications and decision-making
• Assist in the identification and coordination of influencer, creator and reciprocal marketing partnerships to increase reach and engagement
• Work collaboratively with Marketing Manager (Cricket) to support with cricket marketing activities as and when required


Experience and qualifications

• Knows how to juggle priorities, stay calm under pressure, and keep projects moving without dropping the detail
• Demonstrable track record of producing engaging, high-quality social media content across various platforms
• Hands-on experience using social scheduling tools, email marketing platforms, or CMS, comfortable getting stuck into the tools that bring campaigns to life
• A relevant marketing degree is a bonus, but what really matters is how you apply your thinking in the real world
• Full of ideas and not afraid to share them, always looking for fresh angles and smarter ways of doing things
• A confident communicator who can adapt their style whether writing copy or working with stakeholders
• Exceptionally organised, with a knack for keeping plans, deadlines, and details underway
• Thinks like the customer, understands what captures attention and drives engagement
• Naturally collaborative, builds strong relationships and enjoys working across teams to make ideas happen
• Brings energy, ownership, and a “let’s make it happen” mindset to every task
