Diverse Communities Manager Organisation Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation Salary £28,000 - £31,000 Location Bristol Contract type Fixed Term (Full time) Closing date 15 June 2025 Interview date 23 June 2025 Job Description Our mission at the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation is to improve lives through the power of cricket with a purpose to get bats and balls into more people’s hands. We are driven to support the England and Wales Cricket Board in making cricket the most inclusive team sport in England and Wales, and aim to achieve this by creating, developing and delivering fun, safe, inclusive cricket activity for people of all abilities, women, men, girls, boys, of all ages, in both urban and rural locations. We are looking for a passionate, community-focused individual to lead the way in making cricket more inclusive and representative of the wonderfully diverse communities across our region, with a focus on Bristol. As the Diverse Communities Manager, you will play a key role in shaping, managing and delivering cricket programmes that resonate with people from a wide range of ethnic, cultural, and faith backgrounds for all ages. Success in this role will be to: • Provide sustainable cricket offers and competitions in community settings in targeted wards • Support ethnically diverse cricket clubs to develop and sustain their cricket offer • Celebrate the diversity of Bristol and our region through engaging community events • Create opportunities for non-traditional youth players to access Talent Programmes • Develop and deliver a schools’ programme for targeted wards • Increase the diversity of coaches and umpires in the game across our region This role is not just about sport—it is about belonging, opportunity, and using cricket for good to support healthy lifestyles and positive mental wellbeing. You will help maintain existing cricket activity while devising, managing and delivering programmes which break down barriers and build bridges to welcome more people from diverse communities into the game.
