You’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality services across the city, aligned with our service plan, community needs, with a strong focus on supporting those who are most marginalised.Within the Early Years, Children and Families Team, the Glasgow Life Assistants - Citywide will deliver a high-quality service for children and families, supporting children’s social, physical, emotional, creative and intellectual wellbeing through self-directed play and family engagement, working with internal and external partners. You will work with a range of audiences including Pre 5, 5 – 11 Years, Families and children with Additional Support Needs, Assisting with planning and delivering sessions and projects including sourcing suitable resources and adapting content to meet the needs of the groupsGlasgow Life Assistants – Citywide will monitor and evaluate programmes, collating performance information and adapting activities where opportunities for improvement are identified through monitoring sessions, maintaining records including registers, consent forms and checklists and providing information to managers as required.Our service manages 32 community libraries, the Mitchell Library, and various community facilities, designing programmes that promote learning and personal growth across all age groups. Whether supporting digital inclusion, literacy, or local history, we work together to remove barriers for Glasgow’s citizens.
