Glasgow Life is looking for Walking Football Coaches to join the Sports team! As part of our staff bank you’ll have the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis. You’ll join our pool of staff and be contacted when shifts become available, allowing you to manage your work around other commitments. As Walking Football Coach you will be joining our in-demand Football Development and Participation programme. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports the growth of the game in Glasgow.
Salary: this role is starting at an hourly rate of £13.89.
The role:
- To plan and deliver walking football sessions
- To attend Coach Development In-Services to support you as a coach.
- To support the delivery of various local and national events.
- To support the growth of football in Glasgow through working with key stakeholders.
- To evaluate and implement new and existing football development programmes.
Skills and Experience:
If you’re interested in joining us as a Walking Football Coach (staff bank) you’ll need:
- Scottish FA - 1.1 Introduction to Coaching
- Availability to work across weekdays and evenings
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, positive attitude, a flexible approach, confidence, and a professional manner.

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations across Glasgow.
