Founded in 1998, Glasgow City FC is the most successful football club in the history of Scottish women’s football. We are a fully professional club, competing in the Scottish Women’s Premier League, and championing women and girls on and off the pitch.

We are looking to hire a full time First Team Physical Performance Coach. o Lead sports science support on match days. This includes but is not limited to the physical preparation of the squad, nutrition, hydration, and post-match conditioning when/if required.

o Work within established framework of club workings from the sports science and medical department to implement best practice throughout the club.

o Lead programming and delivery of gym-based sessions alongside Head of Sports Science. Work closely with development players to ensure proficiency within the gym environment.

o Lead on the physical profiling of players throughout the season and feed back to Head of Sports Science and technical staff (where required).

o Work with medical staff to deliver end-stage return to play content, and ensure continuity within programming regarding injury management and rehabilitation.

o Monitor training loads and wellbeing measures (including female athlete specific measures) to report to Head of Sports Science. Ability to advise on tailoring training plans accordingly.

o Oversee the collection, collation, and distribution of GPS player training and match day data and feed back to Head of Sports Science and technical staff (where required).
