The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated Fleet Coordinator to join our Transport team within the Operations Division. This role will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of fleet operations for Glasgow 2026, helping ensure vehicles are allocated, tracked, and managed effectively to support Games operations. You will play a key role in supporting fleet administration, vehicle coordination, and operational readiness, working closely with the Fleet Manager, Transport team, and external suppliers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting fleet operations for a major international sporting event, working alongside experienced operational professionals to deliver a safe, efficient, and seamless transport service. Job Summary: As Fleet Coordinator, you will provide essential coordination and administrative support to the Fleet and Transport team, helping ensure fleet operations are well organised, compliant, and responsive to operational needs across multiple venues and locations. You will support fleet planning, vehicle allocation, and scheduling activities, helping ensure vehicles are available and deployed effectively to support Games stakeholders. You will maintain accurate fleet records and documentation, including vehicle availability, servicing schedules, compliance information, and operational tracking data. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will assist with vehicle handovers, fleet documentation, and reporting activities, helping ensure fleet operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will also support operational readiness activities, including rehearsals and testing, and contribute to fleet coordination during the Games delivery period. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the successful delivery of Glasgow 2026, supporting a critical operational function within a fast-paced, multi-venue environment. Key Skills and Experience: We are looking for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills, who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced operational environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. You will be confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and comfortable working with operational systems and tracking tools. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. You will be proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing demands and respond effectively to changing operational requirements. Experience working in fleet coordination, transport operations, logistics, or event environments would be highly advantageous, as would experience supporting multi-site operations or working with external suppliers and service providers.
