The RoleAs Sport Entries & Information Manager, you’ll lead the design and delivery of the entries process and sport information services across all Glasgow 2026 competition disciplines.You’ll develop and manage policies, procedures, and timelines for entries by number and by name, ensuring that every Commonwealth Games Association is fully supported throughout the journey. From early data capture and system testing to Delegation Registration Meetings and Games-time delivery, you’ll provide a seamless and responsive service that underpins the entire athlete experience.Working across departments such as Technology, Sport Competition, Accreditation, and Accommodation, you’ll act as the central link between athlete data and Games-time operations. You’ll also shape the way sport-specific information is delivered to CGAs – from digital manuals and forms to on-site Sport Info Desks and online systems.This is a highly collaborative and deadline-driven role that combines accuracy with empathy, structure with agility, and a passion for sport with an eye for detail.Job Summary: As Sport Entries& Information Manager; your remit will cover the end-to-end planning and execution of sport entries and information services. This includes managing entries policies and systems in line with Commonwealth Sport requirements, coordinating entries validation with CGAs, and ensuring smooth data integration with other Games systems. You’ll be responsible for preparing key documentation, training support teams, delivering information services across venues, and maintaining the integrity of athlete data throughout.You’ll also take the lead on Games-time entries and information operations, setting up Sport Info Desks, supporting the Games Information System (GIS), and responding to stakeholder queries in real time. Your ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple timelines, and ensure accuracy under pressure will make you an essential part of the Sport delivery team.Key Skills and Experience: You’ll bring significant experience managing athlete entries or data systems for major sporting events, ideally within a multi-sport Games or championship environment. Your project management skills will be second to none, backed by meticulous attention to detail, excellent documentation habits, and a proactive mindset.You’ll be confident navigating complex eligibility rules, sport administration processes, and accreditation or scheduling platforms. You’ll also be comfortable working with international stakeholders and sport organisations, always bringing a clear and customer-focused approach to your communication.Ideally, you’ll have experience with Games Information Systems or similar platforms and an understanding of the Commonwealth Sport delivery model.
