Foundation Coach - Football & Education Programme (10 Hours) Organisation Fulham Football Club Foundation Salary £6,427 Location South West London Contract type (Part time) Closing date 24 August 2025 Interview date 31 August 2025 Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious coach to join the Foundation team, with responsibility for supporting the development, coordination and delivery of the Football and Education programme, based in a secondary school in Raynes Park. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Coach on all training sessions and match days during the 2025/26 season, working closely together in order to support the student athletes in having a successful season. You will also be expected to be a positive role model for the students, supporting both their footballing and academic development. In addition to this, when required you will also be expected to lead both training sessions and match days for our ‘Football & Education teams’. This will involve good organisation skills in order to plan high quality sessions that fit in with the Head Coaches training schedule. You must also demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to engage and motivate the student athletes.Not only will you be expected to support the student’s athlete’s development, you will also be required to work with the Head Coach to develop the relationship with the school. You will work with the Head Coach to identify appropriate exit routes for the students upon them finishing their second year of the programme. You must have experience of coaching football to young people aged 16-19 and will be required to have your FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification. We would also like the ideal candidate to have relevant qualifications and experience in either goalkeeper coaching, or strength and conditioning. You will have a first-class work ethic and a forward-thinking approach to ensure all students achieve their desired outcomes. You will also require an enhanced DBS. A full, driving licence and/or the ability to travel independently is required. A D1 driving license will also be highly beneficial. The post will be a contracted role for 10 hours per week spread across five days, working on the Football & Education programme. However, when required you may have to use these hours to support other areas of the foundation. The closing date for this role is Sunday the 24th of August, with first round interviews expected to take place the following week.
