Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and versatile Female Sports and Enriching Mentor and PE Teacher/Coach to join our team. This unique role bridges the gap between sports coaching, and pastoral care, combining structured Physical Education teaching with impactful
1-2-1 sports and enriching mentoring. You will inspire young people in both primary and secondary school settings, helping them develop physical literacy, confidence, and emotional resilience. During school terms, your time will be split between delivering high-quality PE
lessons and mentoring pupils who need extra support. During school holidays, you will step into a lead role at our holiday activity camps.

Key Responsibilities
Term-Time Responsibilities
● Sports and Enriching Mentoring (Secondary): Deliver 1-2-1 and small group sports mentoring sessions at partner secondary schools, using sport and multi enriching activities such as creative arts, and hair and beauty as a tool to engage pupils, build confidence, and support emotional wellbeing.
● PE Teaching & Coaching (Primary): Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for al pupils.
● Extracurricular Delivery: Lead energetic and structured after-school sports clubs.
● PPA & Admin: Utilise allocated Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time to design high-quality sessions and track pupil progress.
● Team Support: Collaborate with and support other coaches, sharing best practice and promoting the core values and growth of the business.

Holiday Responsibilities
● Camp Venue Lead: Take on the role of Venue Lead during school holiday camps, managing day-to-day operations, ensuring safeguarding standards are met, and leading a team of coaches to deliver an exceptional camp experience.

Hours and Working Pattern
This is a full-time role with varying schedules depending on the school calendar. Typical working hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (35–40 hours per week).
● Term-Time: Standard hours apply, with direct school delivery wrapping up mid-afternoon, followed by on-site after-school clubs, PPA time, or business/coach support.
● School Holidays: Shifted hours, typically 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, to accommodate holiday camp drop-offs and operational setup.

Candidate Requirements
● Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
● Minimum Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification or a recognised Primary PE specialism.
● Experience working with children in a school or sports setting (experience with 1-2-1 mentoring or mentoring vulnerable youth is highly desirable).
● Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
● Excellent communication skills for liaising with school staff, parents, and internal management
● A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred, for travel between venues).
