About the opportunity: We are offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, highly motivated, and hardworking individual to join a dynamic Finance team here at Everton Football Club. We are looking for a Management Accountant who will take responsibility for preparing monthly Management Accounts and completing accounting procedures within the Finance department. Other core responsibilities as part of this role include: Preparation and completion of monthly Management Accounts for a number of individual cost centres within 11 working days of the month end. The Management Accounts are to be produced to a standard appropriate for delivery to the Executive Management team, Board of Directors and BankProduction of detailed and accurate analysis to support the figures reported in the Management AccountsResponsibility for accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations each month endRespond to requests for financial information and analyses from other Department Heads (which may include non-financial stakeholders), which may arise on an ad hoc basisAssists with the preparation on annual budget packs and provide support to Department Heads when completing their own budgetsWho we are looking for; Essentially, we are looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) who has a logical and structured approach to problem solving. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of producing management reports using professionally accepted techniques and have knowledge of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow systems.
