We are excited to be looking for an ambitious, motivated, and innovated Head of Academy Goalkeeping, supporting the Club Pathway Mission to produce Academy Graduates for Everton FC and ensure positive outcomes for all our people. As Head of Academy Goalkeeping you will be responsible for the overall management, development and coaching of the Academy Goalkeepers, in line with the Coaching philosophy, vision and values of the Academy and the Club as a whole. You will support the full time, part time and/or casual Goalkeeping Coaches, ensuring professionalism, behaviours and standards are consistently in line with Club values. Other key responsibilities as part of this role include: Management of Programme and Staff Responsible for all GK coaches (full time / part time / casual) within the academy programme on a day-to-day basis To manage and support all GK Coaches within the academy around their personal DAP’S Responsible for staff (GK) development across the phases within the academy (e.g. delivering CPD workshops, coach observations and feedback during training and games) To continue and evolve the GK coaching philosophy and methodology that aligns across the academy Produce, deliver and review a Curriculum that is phase specific for GK’s to align with the club’s Philosophy and wider team principles Player Development and Progression To liaise with the Academy Recruitment Department to produce depth charts, player pathways, retention and recruitment of goalkeepers, for the Academy. Strategy To continue and evolve the GK coaching philosophy and methodology that aligns across the academy Produce, deliver and review a Curriculum that is phase specific for GK’s to align with the club’s Philosophy and wider team principlesWho we are looking for: We are seeking an individual with an impressive track record in the football industry, particularly with experience across all age groups within an academy setting. You should be able to demonstrate a strong background in working with and supporting young players during coaching sessions, especially within the Professional Development Phase groups. A passion for player development, along with extensive experience coordinating activities for a large number of individuals, is essential for this role. To qualify, you must hold at least the following qualification: FA GK Coaching Level 4 (UEFA A Licence) If you believe you possess the expertise we are looking for and would thrive as an integral part of our academy team, we would love to hear from you!
