Job Description: English Universities Sport (EUS) is the official association in England which administrates and sanctions national representative student competition across higher education. We are a democratic and innovative membership organisation, comprising of a strong Committee, exceptional coach network and professional support staff from the sport and higher education sectors.

EUS strives to support the development of all its student athletes and provide opportunities to compete at the highest domestic representative level. Our teams compete in the biennial Home Nations Tournament as well as numerous fixtures against professional and amateur representative clubs from across the UK.

The Secretary Role

+ Oversee annual EUS annual schedule, including meetings & communications across the team
+ Record & circulate minutes of all EUS Trustee Board & Senior Leadership Team meetings
+ Maintain & organise organisational records, such as policies, action logs, & key documents
+ Support Constitutional compliance, including elections & voting
+ Assist in the onboarding & coordination of committee members & trustees

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

+ Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
+ Excellent written communication & the ability to accurately record meeting minutes
+ Manage competing deadlines & coordinate with multiple stakeholders
+ Experience in committee servicing, student governance, or sport administration is desirable
+ Understanding of governance procedures (or willingness to learn)
+ Confident using tools such as email, shared drives, & online meeting platforms
