Job Description: English Universities Sport (EUS) is the official association in England which administrates and sanctions national representative student competition across higher education. We are a democratic and innovative membership organisation, comprising of a strong Committee, exceptional coach network and professional support staff from the sport and higher education sectors.

EUS strives to support the development of all its student athletes and provide opportunities to compete at the highest domestic representative level. Our teams compete in the biennial Home Nations Tournament as well as numerous fixtures against professional and amateur representative clubs from across the UK.

The Head of Development Role

+ Lead, recruit, & coordinate the EUS Development Team (Partnership & Marketing Managers)
+ Develop partnership & marketing strategies to grow EUS reach, engagement, & brand visibility
+ Support outreach to new corporate & sporting partners
+ Ensure effective coordination & delivery of annual marketing calendar & campaigns
+ Explore additional revenue opportunities for EUS & lead grant funding applications
+ Work closely with the Trustee Board to support wider organisational aims

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

+ Strong leadership or coordination experience in sport
+ Excellent relationship-building & communication skills
+ Experience in partnership development, marketing, and/or project management
+ Strategic thinker with good organisational skills & attention to detail
+ Comfortable managing people, budgets, & busy schedules
+ Understanding of university sport systems & EUS purpose
