Job Description
The Marketing Executive will support the Marketing and Communications department to create and deliver marketing campaigns and activations for England Netball; maximising opportunities to engage and excite fans, grow the membership, participation numbers, and promote the sport.


Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to build and implement the marketing strategy for England Netball's membership with an aim to grow the membership and create stronger engagement.
Work closely with NETBALLHer stakeholders to design and deliver effective marketing and content to promote NETBALLHer; building awareness and engagement across netball and the wider female health landscape.
Work with the Participation team to design and deliver marketing campaigns for programmes including Walking Netball, Back to Netball, Bee Netball, Blended Netball and Netball Now across digital, social, local and email marketing.
Support the creation, launch and ongoing marketing of merchandise ranges to drive revenue.
Work with the Commercial Partnerships team to design and deliver marketing campaigns to support partners and offer creative ideas for how partners could work with England Netball.
Support the delivery of the Netball Super League's marketing output including coverage of live fixtures, major events and content creation.
Play an active role in major and community competitions, matches and events through content capture, digital and social output.
Support in the delivery of 365-content calendars to have an ‘always-on’ approach to digital communications.
Assist with the creation of email campaigns and e-news using Maileon.
Brief agencies / in-house teams on graphic, static and video content.
Create regular marketing reports which clearly evaluate campaign delivery against the KPIs & objectives set and implement learnings across future output.
Actively support in updating and maintaining the England Netball and NETBALLHer websites with new content.
Look at EN marketing activity through the lens of underrepresented communities ensuring Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is considered across campaigns.
Regularly monitor the sports landscape and keep up to date with current digital trends and content ideas that can be implemented by England Netball

Other duties:

Assist with video editing, creation of graphics, presentations and provide support on photo and video shoots.
Escalate any potential issues or negative comments on England Netball's social media channels.
Offer ideas, solutions and a problem-solving approach to digital for the benefit of the wider organisation.

The Person

Essentials:

Comprehensive experience in a professional marketing role and environment.
A strong communicator. You have excellent written and spoken English and experience of compelling story telling, with an eye for detail. You can sell a story to a diverse audience through different channels.
Organised and able to prioritise and co-ordinate multiple campaigns with great attention to detail and ability to keep track of deadlines.
Dedicated to Difference and has a passion for actively looking at marketing through the lens of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Passionate about all things sports and marketing, and ideally with some previous experience.
Great team workers You have a collaborative, ‘one team’ approach to working and an ability to maintain close constructive working relationships at all levels.
Self-starter who is enthusiastic and confident with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is motivated to work both in a team environment and independently when hybrid working.
You are curious with a willingness to learn quickly
You are able to work anti-social hours occasionally, including evenings or weekend events.
You can easily work from the Head office and have an appropriate working space for hybrid working.


Desirables:

It would be beneficial if you have worked in a sporting environment and have an interest in the Sports Industry
Using website content management systems
Adobe suite for graphic design

Travel Requirements
Some weekend and evening working is required, particularly around event time.
