Job Description
Join Our Team: Handball Delivery Officer – North West (Part-Time)

Are you an enthusiastic handball coach passionate about growing the game in schools, clubs, and communities? England Handball is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Handball Delivery Officer (North West) to lead high-quality delivery across the Birmingham–Manchester–Liverpool corridor.

This part-time, fixed-term role (0.5 FTE) is perfect for someone with strong coaching experience who thrives in both grassroots and performance settings. You’ll play a key role in the roll-out of Phase 3 of our EHF Masterplan project, inspiring young people to engage with handball and helping to develop sustainable opportunities for participation across the region.

This is a part-time, delivery-focused role ideal for an experienced and motivated handball coach. As Handball Delivery Officer – North West, you will support the roll-out of the EHF Masterplan project by leading high-quality delivery across schools, clubs, and communities along the Birmingham–Liverpool–Manchester corridor. The role requires a dynamic and adaptable coach who can work across all grassroots settings.

Key Responsibilities
EHF Masterplan Delivery (18 hours/week)

Plan and deliver engaging handball sessions in schools, clubs, and community venues.

Build and sustain partnerships with schools, Multi Academy Trusts, local authorities, and handball clubs.

Act as the regional point of contact for school handball development within the North West corridor and work closely with the North Handball Development Officer.

Encourage and support participation in England Handball school competitions.

Collect delivery data, case studies, and local success stories for reporting and communication purposes.

Complete monitoring and evaluation in line with EHF Masterplan reporting requirements.

Support national and regional events where appropriate.

May be required to support wider EHA projects within the community when necessary.
