Media Operations Manager (FTC until July 2026) Organisation England & Wales Cricket Board Salary Competitive Location London, Lords (minimum 3 days in the office) Contract type Closing date 13 February 2026 Job Description PURPOSE This role helps deliver the planning and delivery of Media Operations for the England Men’s and Women’s International fixtures taking place in May to July 2026. These fixtures include England Women’s white-ball series against New Zealand and India. A test match between England Women and India at Lord’s. An England Men’s test match series against New Zealand and an England Men’s white-ball series against India.This role will help to create a world-class experience for media, players, and fans across all host venues. YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IFYou have passion for major event delivery within the Media Operations functional area.You have excellent organisational skills.You have an understanding of Media Operations across Sport with experience in Cricket being an advantage.You have experience in managing operations including working with venues.You are a clear communicator that establishes strong professional relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, and seeks to resolve arising issues in line with wider objectives. YOU’LL BE DOINGLeading the planning and delivery of the Media Operations functional area for England Men’s and Women’s 2026 fixtures.Liaise with other key operational functional areas to plan essential media facilities—including the press box, press conference areas, media catering areas, and photographer operations—across the host venues, striving for world-class standards throughout.Work with the ECB’s Accreditation Team to manage applications via the Media Accreditation Portal. Review applications for season passes in conjunction with the ECB’s Comms department and Professional County Club contacts to ensure key publications receive passes before the domestic season begins.Manage the Media Operations inbox and ensure timely responses to emails and queries from non-rights media.Ensure each match has an ECB Media Ops Manager scheduled to deliver on site.• Attend relevant cross-departmental meetings and venue planning sessions.Please note that this role is office based and requires you to be in the office a minimum of three days per week. YOU’LL HAVEMedia Operations experience at sporting events or tournaments, with cricket knowledge a distinct advantage.Exceptional communication and decision-making skills, liaising with a variety of important stakeholders at all levels of the business, with a focus on achieving operational efficiencies.A strong attention to detail in the preparation of planning documents, communications and reports.A Team player approach, be resourceful and possess the ability to demonstrate initiative; still seeking advice or support when required.A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour; understanding the ever-changing events environment which will include unsociable hours.Legal right to work in the UK for the entire duration of the contract.
