Job Description
Are you an experienced sports coach who also has a strong background in teaching, tutoring and assessing adult learners?
Educationwise is looking for an experienced Sports Coach Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across our funded and vocational programmes.
This is primarily a tutoring and learner-delivery role. Applicants must therefore have proven experience delivering structured learning to adults, alongside current occupational knowledge of the sports coaching sector.

The role
Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering engaging teaching and learning sessions
• Managing learners through their qualifications and apprenticeship standards
• Completing progress reviews and setting clear, achievable targets
• Supporting learners with practical assessments and workplace development
• Maintaining accurate learner records and meeting awarding body, DfE and Ofsted requirements
• Building positive relationships with learners, employers and internal teams
• Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement

What we’re looking for
You will need:
• Strong, recent experience working as a tutor and delivering learning to adults
• Experience delivering within the sports coaching sector
• A Level 3 or Level 4 teaching qualification, such as CTLLS or equivalent
• Recent experience assessing adult learners
• Occupational competence within sports coaching
• Confidence managing your own learner caseload, workload and diary
• Good IT, written and verbal communication skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport

An assessor qualification and Level 4 Sports Coach qualification would be desirable.
You will be organised, reliable and passionate about helping learners succeed, with the confidence to deliver engaging sessions and maintain consistently high standards.
