Job Description: Derbyshire FA is inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring, dynamic, and highly motivated individual to lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Derbyshire FA, the governing body for grassroots football in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business leadership, a passion for football, and demonstrable experience of driving organisational change. This is a hybrid role which will be based primarily at Derbyshire FA’s headquarters in Derby (with occasional evening and weekend-based work at various locations across England) and will report directly to the Chair of the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities include:

Spearheading the strategic development and culture of Derbyshire FA.
Acting as an ambassador for grassroots football across the county.
Ensuring effective governance, financial management, safeguarding, and stakeholder engagement.
Delivering The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and Derbyshire FA’s Business Strategy.
