Salary – £28,000 to £34,000 depending on experience
Reporting to – Programme Manager
Location – Merseyside with daily travel to delivery sites and some working from home
Hours – Full time 37.5 hours pw

Job overview
The Senior Programme Coordinator is a skilled practitioner who leads by example, delivering high-quality interventions to young people while providing day-to-day oversight of regional delivery, with support from the Programme Manager. They model best practice in every aspect of delivery and play a key role in supporting the wider team to uphold these standards across all sessions.
Alongside delivery, the Senior Programme Coordinator is responsible for line managing and mentoring a team of Delivery staff, coordinating regional timetables, and ensuring that safeguarding, reporting, and impact measurement processes are followed consistently. They take the lead in building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, partners, funders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful partnerships and sustained impact.
This role is central to the quality of our work in the region and requires someone who can balance direct delivery with leadership. The postholder will be passionate about working with young people who are disengaged from education and committed to supporting both individuals and the team to achieve meaningful outcomes.
