Using sport as a hook and mentorship as an anchor, you’ll engage young people through our four core focus areas: developing life skills, raising aspirations, enhancing physical well-being, and promoting mental well-being. You’ll deliver tailored sports sessions combined with workshops in employability, wellbeing and digital skills to help young people build the skills and resilience they need to transition into sustained education, employment, or training (EET) post-school. This role includes daily travel to multiple sites, and up to two evenings per week, normally finishing no later than 7 pm. Who are we looking for?We are seeking a professional individual with a proven background in youth work, mentoring, or delivering sports-based sessions, particularly with disengaged or excluded young people. This role is ideal for someone passionate about promoting social mobility. We want to ensure that we are representing the young people that we serve, and we would love to hear from you if you have lived experience of exclusion. The successful candidate will be proficient in collecting & using data to monitor and enhance performance. They will be highly organised with strong time & people management. You will also be an effective communicator be skilled in building meaningful connections with school staff and community partners to shape success for the young people we encounter.
