We are constantly trying to grow, diversify and build with not only our team on the pitch, but also our team in the offices and on the ground.About this role:To provide proactive welfare and safeguarding support across the Girls’ Academy Foundation and Youth Development teams, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all players. This role is integral to embedding a culture of safety and wellbeing across the Academy. Responsibilities:Be a visible and approachable point of contact for players and parents during training evenings and weekend matches.Build trusted relationships with girls and their families, offering advice, guidance, and support on welfare-related matters.Signpost individuals to appropriate support services as required.Use case management software (MyConcern) to record information and decisions.Manage records in accordance with GDPR guidelines.Support the implementation and monitoring of safeguarding policies and procedures across the Foundation and Youth Development teams.Work closely with the Safeguarding Team to embed a proactive and preventative safeguarding culture within the Girls’ Academy.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FA Safeguarding and Welfare regulations and ensure best practices are followed.Support the implementation and monitoring of safeguarding policies and procedures across the Foundation and Youth Development teams.Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
