Job Description
CORE Physio – London Bridge, SE1

45% fee split
Self-employed | Part-time with opportunity to increase

CORE Physio is expanding with a new clinic in London Bridge, SE1, and we are looking for physiotherapists with an interest in MSK, sports rehabilitation, exercise therapy and strength & conditioning to join our growing team.

This role is particularly suited to newly qualified and early-career physiotherapists who want to develop strong practical experience in MSK and sports rehabilitation while working alongside more experienced clinicians.

The role

You will provide physiotherapy to clients throughout their rehabilitation, including patients progressing following diagnosis and initial assessment by our Senior MSK / Sports Physiotherapists.

You'll have the opportunity to work with a varied MSK and sports caseload, with a particular emphasis on active, exercise-based rehabilitation.

Your work may include:

MSK physiotherapy

Sports injury rehabilitation

Post-operative rehabilitation

Progressive strength and conditioning

Return-to-running and return-to-sport programmes

Tendon and muscle rehabilitation

Mobility and movement rehabilitation

Balance, proprioception and neuromuscular rehabilitation

Gym-based rehabilitation

Exercise prescription and progression

Ongoing reassessment and progression of treatment plans

As your clinical experience and confidence develop, there will be opportunities to take greater responsibility for initial assessments, independently manage complete patient pathways and develop your own specialist clinical interests.

A different environment for rehabilitation

Our new London Bridge clinic is being designed around active rehabilitation as well as treatment-room physiotherapy.

You'll have access to dedicated rehabilitation and performance facilities, allowing patients to progress from the treatment room into meaningful strength, movement and return-to-sport work within the same clinic.

You'll work alongside experienced MSK / Sports Physiotherapists, providing opportunities for clinical discussion, development and support with more complex cases.

Sports Massage & Soft Tissue Therapy

We would particularly like to hear from physiotherapists who are also qualified in Sports Massage / Soft Tissue Therapy.

Alongside your physiotherapy caseload, there will be opportunities to provide Sports Massage and soft-tissue treatments. This provides additional variety and can help build a strong private caseload while developing your MSK physiotherapy practice.

What we offer

45% fee split across your private physiotherapy and Sports Massage caseload.

New London Bridge clinic – a substantial new physiotherapy, rehabilitation and performance facility at 33 Union Street, SE1.

Dedicated rehabilitation facilities – space and equipment for active rehabilitation, strength & conditioning and return-to-sport work.

Clinical development – work alongside experienced MSK / Sports Physiotherapists while developing your assessment, rehabilitation and private-practice skills.

Varied caseload – general MSK, sports injuries, post-operative physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation and return to sport.

Career progression – develop towards independently managing patients from initial assessment through to discharge and return to activity or sport.

Develop specialist interests – opportunities to become involved in running rehabilitation, strength & conditioning, sports performance, movement assessment and other specialist services.

Flexible working – part-time initially, with opportunities for additional shifts and a larger caseload as the clinic grows.

About you

We are looking for:

HCPC-registered Physiotherapist

CSP membership

Newly qualified and early-career physiotherapists welcome

Strong interest in MSK and sports physiotherapy

Enthusiasm for active, exercise-based rehabilitation

Confidence prescribing and supervising exercise

Interest in strength & conditioning and progressive rehabilitation

Good communication and patient-care skills

An evidence-based approach

Right to work in the UK

Additional qualifications or experience in Sports Massage / Soft Tissue Therapy, strength & conditioning, personal training, sports coaching or exercise rehabilitation would be particularly useful.

Previous experience working within sport is welcome but not essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for physiotherapists who enjoy active rehabilitation and exercise-based treatment and want to develop within MSK and sports physiotherapy.
