Workforce, Skills & Apprenticeship Lead – North West of England

Job Description: This role will lead and develop Coach Core’s programmes across the North West of England and North Wales, building relationships with employers, partners, community organisations, and young people to create life-changing apprenticeship opportunities.

You’ll work with employers, referral partners, training providers, and local stakeholders to:

Support more young people into employment and education
Develop inclusive apprenticeship opportunities
Build strong local partnerships and networks
Support apprentices and employers throughout their journey
Help shape local workforce and skills conversations
Champion opportunities within sport, physical activity, and beyond
The role will support programmes across areas including Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, North Lancashire, and Wrexham.
