Why Join Casual Ballerz CIC?

Casual Ballerz CIC is on a bold mission to:
• Impact 1,000 young people across London, Birmingham, Liverpool, and Manchester by 2030.
• Build a state-of-the-art football stadium and sporting complex in London to inspire and support future generations.
• Grow our team from 25 to 100 staff members, creating more jobs and opportunities within our community.

Joining us means playing a key role in this transformative journey while gaining valuable experience and references to accelerate your career.

Your Role

As Volunteer Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Founder and team to elevate Casual Ballerz CIC to new heights. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll make a meaningful impact while building your skills and professional network.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Leadership: Identify and pursue funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and partnerships to fund programs and long-term goals.
• Community Growth: Build relationships with schools, local organisations, and other stakeholders to expand our reach and deepen our impact.
• Strategic Development: Contribute to strategies for growing our team, strengthening our brand, and positioning Casual Ballerz CIC as a leader in grassroots community development.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:
• Shares Our Passion: You’re driven by a desire to create opportunities for young people and uplift communities.
• Is a Strategic Thinker: You can turn innovative ideas into actionable plans.
• Knows Fundraising: You’re skilled at securing funding and resources for community programs.
• Has Community Experience: You’ve worked with underserved communities or youth-focused organisations.
• Brings Initiative and Energy: You thrive on challenges, take ownership of projects, and have a hunger for success.

What You’ll Gain
• Career Pathway Within Casual Ballerz:
As we grow, we’re committed to hiring from within. Outstanding volunteers will be strongly considered for paid roles, including project management, program design, and leadership positions.
• Career Pathway Beyond Casual Ballerz:
Build the skills, experience, and references needed to secure roles in other organisations. In the past four months, four of our volunteers have secured paid roles in physiotherapy, coaching, and mentoring thanks to their experience with us and our glowing references.
• Leadership Experience: Develop your skills in program design, fundraising, and organisational growth.
• Networking Opportunities: Build connections with key community stakeholders and organisations.
• Flexibility: This is a volunteer role with hours tailored to your availability.
