Job Description
🏊‍♂️ Assistant Swimming Coach
Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club (CSCSC)
📍 North London | ⏰ Evening & weekend hours | 💷 Competitive hourly rate | 📝 Part-time

Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club (CSCSC) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Coaches to support the delivery of our competitive and development swimming programmes. You’ll work closely with the Lead Coach, Head Coach, and coaching team to deliver high-quality training sessions, support swimmer progression, and help maintain a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven environment.

🔑 What You’ll Do:
- Assist with planning and delivering pool and land training sessions
- Provide technical feedback and skill corrections to swimmers
- Support swimmers at competitions and training events
- Help assess and place swimmers in the correct squads or stages
- Work collaboratively with coaches, volunteers, and the wider club team
- Maintain safety, professionalism, and the Club’s values at all times

✅ What You’ll Need:
- Swim England Level 1 Coaching (minimum); Level 2 preferred or willingness to obtain
- Valid NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Swim England-approved Safeguarding Certificate (or willingness to complete within 3 months)
- Strong communication skills and a positive coaching attitude
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (competition attendance may be required)
