Job Description
We are seeking a physiotherapist to primarily work with our growing female patient population.

Are you someone motivated to develop clinical excellence and inspired by long-term growth projects? Do you want to be surrounded by physiotherapists who have worked at National Team and professional sport levels? Do you want to be part of an exciting journey where you can take ownership of your role and craft it into what you want it to be?... This could be the position for you!

ABOUT CAMBRIDGE SPORTS MEDICINE CENTRE (CSMC)

CSMC is a private practice specialising in post-operative rehab, concussion, and musculoskeletal injury. We prioritise quality and expertise over volume. All appointments are 1-hour in length to allow for medical best practice including delivery of in-depth assessment followed by comprehensive treatment and 1-1 guided rehab. CSMC has recently doubled the size of the practice with a brand new rehab gym and renovated treatment space. Learn more about CSMC at www.csmc.health.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH AND LEARN FROM?

A major benefit of this role is the opportunity to work alongside three highly qualified practitioners with immense experience in the elite sport sector. This is an invaluable learning opportunity for an early career physio who seeks growth and development of the highest quality. There will be a structured learning plan to facilitate mastery of key technical skills, laying the foundation for successful career in sports physiotherapy. In a small practice surrounded by elite sport experience and advanced clinical proficiency, learning can be far more bespoke and individualised than in a large organisation or a practice that prioritises patient volume and profits over quality.

Across our physiotherapists our elite sport experience includes current or prior employment with:

Team GB
The FA
British Gymnastics
British Rowing
4x Professional Rugby teams
GB Short Track Speed Skating
UK Sports Institute / English Institute of Sport

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

CSMC is recreating a Female Physiotherapist (2-4 years experience) to be primarily responsible for working with our female patients. There will be a wide variety of patients with demographics that will include active older adults, busy parents, kids and teenagers, elite / sub-elite / pathway athletes and everyone in between. Prior experience working in sport and with female patients is an advantage but not a pre-requisite to applying. There will be weekend work involving pitch side and event care in elite and sub-elite environments.

Important details of the role include:

• 40hr working week, including evening and weekend pitch side work.
• Primarily responsible for treating our female patients
• Large emphasis on supportive education and development via a structured learning plan. CSMC also invests heavily in external learning opportunities via official CPD courses.
• Contribute to the technical resource library of the practice via written and video projects.
• Assist in research projects undertaken by the practice.
• Maintain accurate and up to date clinical records in-line with professional minimum standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (or MSc. Physiotherapy – Pre Reg)
• HCPC and CSP registered

REMUNERATION

Remuneration for this position is £40,000 - £45,000 which is made up of £30,000 base salary + commission (expected to be a minimum of £10,000 in the first year with constant growth as your reputation grows).

How to apply
To apply for this role, send a cover letter (max 1 page) and CV (max 2 pages) to Matthew Look (CSMC Director) at info@csmc.health. Applications close at 23:59 on Sunday 31st May 2026. Applicants will be assessed as they apply, and interviews may be offered before the application deadline.
