Come and be part of our story!The RoleSport Development projects provide young people and adults with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports activities. The projects focus on increasing participation, developing a love for sport and also creating positive learning environments for all involved.In liaison with the Sports Development Manager and other staff, the Sports Development Coach will support the coordination and delivery of key sports development initiatives such as Bertie’s Footy Stars, Bertie Bee’s, Football Hubs, Activity Camps/Soccer Schools, Walking Sports and Matchday activities.Roles and Responsibilities• Plan, deliver and evaluate of coaching / sports sessions to ensure high standards and customer service are maintained.• To undertake appropriate administrative duties in relation to the projects, to ensure the smooth running of the project e.g., maintain accurate attendance registers, organise sessions, fixtures, transport and collect monies, etc. • Ensure all equipment is available and is kept in a useable condition. • Monitoring and evaluating sport development projects and the impact of delivery.• To ensure that the health and safety issues are implemented in all areas of the programme. • To understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment. • To work towards agreed objectives.• Comply with all Charity policies.• Promote the Burnley FC in the Community brand and ethos in a professional, strong, and positive manner.• Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice.• Hold a commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace.• Willingness to attend training courses to enhance own professional development.• Always demonstrate the Charity’s values.
