Contract type
Permanent (Full time)

Job Description
As an experienced CRM Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing British Triathlon’s engagement strategy through effective CRM, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven communications.

You will be responsible for delivering targeted, personalised email campaigns and communications across multiple touchpoints to drive membership retention, stakeholder engagement, and overall participation in the sport.

British Triathlon is the national governing body for triathlon, dedicated to growing participation, developing high performing athletes, and building an engaged, passionate community around great swim, bike, run experiences. We are committed to making triathlon accessible to all, from grassroots to elite competition, and ensuring our members have the best possible experience in the sport. Last year was an incredible year for triathlon, with inspiring medal winning performances at the Olympics and Paralympics, showcasing our sport at its absolute best on the world stage and leading to many ‘Inspired by Paris’ moments at a grassroots level.

With a large-scale digital transformation project underway, we are investing in CRM and marketing automation to better engage with our community of event participants, members, clubs, coaches, athletes, and other stakeholders.

We’re searching for a dynamic individual with a minimum of two years’ proven experience in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing to support our ambitions to strengthen British Triathlon’s brand, deepen engagement with our community, and drive membership growth.

Our new CRM Marketing Executive will be an integral and valued member of the Marketing & Communications team and will thrive through developing and maintaining trusted working relationships with teams across the organisation.

Key focus areas for the successful candidate will be:
• Delivering engaging, segmented email campaigns to members, coaches, clubs, and all groups within the British Triathlon ecosystem
• Managing HubSpot CRM and marketing automation, optimising triggered communication flows and personalised experiences across all touchpoints, for member acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Developing personalised lifecycle marketing campaigns to promote British Triathlon services and benefits, helping to increase engagement and increase customer lifetime value

The role may benefit from our successful hybrid working model, where colleagues work from our Loughborough head office 2-3 days a week, providing a supportive, collaborative, and fun working environment, with the flexibility to work from home on other days.

Benefits
British Triathlon offers a competitive benefits package that includes:
• 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, enhanced with a flexible holiday buying scheme
• A commitment to your development, through collaborative learning and development
• The day off on your birthday to celebrate however you wish
• Two days paid volunteer leave
• Enhanced Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption Pay
• Pension scheme, life assurance scheme, and private medical insurance to care for you and your loved ones
• Free and accessible parking outside the Loughborough head office
• Support for a healthy lifestyle, including discounted gym membership at Loughborough University campus and a cycle to work scheme

British Triathlon is the world’s leading triathlon nation, and we are passionate about developing the right people and culture to support this, enabling success and increasing participation. We’re looking for people who can bring skills and ambition to an inclusive, people-centred workplace, who are determined to create positive impact, and value doing what’s right above doing what is expected.

Why Join British Triathlon?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-impact Marketing and Communications team as we help shape the future of triathlon. As our CRM Marketing Executive, you will support the entire organisation to engage with its members, and the wider triathlon community, whilst playing a key role contributing to the ongoing digital transformation of British Triathlon.

We value the different perspectives that a more representative workforce will bring to our work and are particularly keen to hear from applicants from diverse communities and backgrounds.
