The Physical Preparation Coach will play a vital role in co-ordinating, advising on, and delivering high-quality support that enables our athletes to become healthy, adaptable athletes and optimises their physical health. Working across all Olympic and Paralympic programmes the role will form part of our physical health team, working collaboratively with our physios to drive physical health and performance forward. We are looking for someone who can blend the technical knowledge of physical preparation with the ability to design, monitor, and co-ordinate remote training programmes for elite athletes. Essential Criteria:- Degree-level qualification in sport science or related area, specialising in the physical preparation of elite athletes- Experience of remote planning and programming for elite athletes by analysing the demands and identifying physical performance requirements- Experience of collaborating with coaches and practitioners in the delivery of S&C services to elite athletes- Ability to plan and deliver remote training programmes to a diverse population- Excellent coaching skills including the ability to adapt to environment and motivate behaviour change- Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with athletes, coaches, and practitioners and working in a national governing body of sportBritish Shooting is proudly decentralised.
