The Performance Lifestyle Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering personalised, high-quality support that enables athletes to thrive both in sport and in life beyond it. Working across all Olympic and Paralympic programmes the role will work directly with athletes to help balance the demands of high-performance sport with their education, career, personal and professional development. We are looking for someone who can blend the compassion and empathy required to support an athlete navigate life both inside and outside of sport, with organisation and prioritisation skills to manage a busy role, working across multiple disciplines, and contribute to important projects and initiatives.Essential Criteria- Professional qualification or degree in a related field OR significant experience as an athlete/coach in Olympic or Paralympic sport- Experience of supporting athletes through coaching/mentoring across a broad range of performance lifestyle areas and facilitating positive outcome for performance and wellbeing- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team supporting athletes and coaches in training and competition environments- Understanding of the needs of elite athletes/coaches and operating in a world-class programme or equivalent environment- Understanding of performance lifestyle areas such as transitions, education, career development, wellbeing, financial health)- Ability to build successful working relationships based on trust and to collaborate effectively with performance staff within a national governing body of sportBritish Shooting is proudly decentralised.
