Job Description
British Gymnastics has the following permanent full-time post:

Business Systems Officer
37 hours per week
Salary range £26,699 to £28,650 per annum (dependent upon experience)
31 days annual leave including Company Days + Bank Holidays + 2 wellbeing days a year + weekly exercise and wellbeing hours.

This is a Home-based role with national travel to attend staff days and meetings as required . 

About the role
We are looking for a Business Systems Officer to support the effective use, maintenance and continuous improvement of our business systems. Working closely with the Business Systems Manager, you will help colleagues across the organisation get the best from the technology and data they rely on every day.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys problem solving, supporting users, improving processes and working with data. You will provide first tier support for business systems, help maintain data quality, support system-related projects and contribute to improvements that make our systems easier and more effective to use. What you will be doing
Providing timely and effective first tier support for business system queries and configuration requests.
Triaging, managing and resolving support tickets in line with agreed service levels.
Liaising with suppliers and IT colleagues to escalate and resolve system issues where needed.
Supporting data quality activity, including audits, updates and migration of records from legacy systems.
Helping to document business systems support processes for use by the wider IT team.
Supporting the Business Systems Manager with business analysis activity, including gathering requirements, mapping processes and identifying improvements.
Working with colleagues across the organisation to help them understand and use available systems and tools effectively.
Contributing to a safe, inclusive and well-governed working environment by following safeguarding, data protection, health and safety, equality and diversity, and  risk management  policies.

About you
You will be logical, organised and detail-focused, with the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You do not need to have followed one specific career path; we are interested in people who can demonstrate the right mix of analytical thinking, communication skills and willingness to learn.

You will bring:

Good analytical skills and the ability to investigate faults, issues and support requests.
An understanding of modern technology, systems and data.
Confidence communicating clearly with users at different levels of an organisation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using Excel or similar office technologies.
Good time management, personal organisation and planning skills.
A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and  suppliers.
